Our Story

It started with a mushroom kit and a curiosity to how it was made. A deep dive into gourmet mushrooms online and Sam was hooked. He has learnt everything he knows about mushroom farming from YouTube and an online community (Cheers Mossback crew!). We know this makes us sound less credible but the proof is in the fungi and ours are beautiful. ​

 

So today, we're a micro-farm, small, tiny. We are a family business, owned and operated. Our passion is to grow the freshest produce that could possibly reach the hands of our customers. ​

Our Mission

It's too ambitious to expect to supply every restaurant in Sydney but gosh darn it, we can dream can't we?! AND while we're at it, we want to get mushrooms in the hands and fridges of all of the people too - there are soups to be made and risottos to be eaten!​ We grow the freshest and deliver the best quality produce that can logistically be achieved. You need our mushrooms on your taste buds so get out of your own way and put them there.
