About the Recipe
This is an amazing dish for anyone with a loved one who identifies as a mushroom hater - they'll think it's chicken shnitty and frankly, it may as well be! I've roped in nieces and nephews into eating mushrooms along with my highly supportive but mushroom non-lover father.

Ingredients
1 Large Punnet Oyster Mushrooms (the bigger the better)
2 cups plain flour (add more if necessary)
4 Eggs
2 Cups Panko Breadcrumbs
1 Cup Olive Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Place plain flour in shallow container or plate, spread out evenly. Repeat for Panko breadcrumbs in separate container.
Step 2
Mix eggs in mixing bowl.
Step 3
Setup work station with cooktop at end. For 4 ingredients in a row leading to your pan. Mushrooms -> Flour -> Eggs -> breadcrumbs -> pan
Step 4
Add oil to pan, medium heat (no smoking olive oil allowed!)
Step 5
Picking up one mushroom, dip/coat both side in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs before adding to pan. Repeat step until pan is full but not over crowded.
Step 6
Cook until outside is crispy and delicious looking.
Step 7
Eat. Yum yum!
Step 8
Buy more mushrooms from Manly Mushrooms and make it a staple in your weekly "diet".
